Winning the “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” nine years in a row doesn’t just accidentally happen. It’s something we as a company have worked to achieve.
It seems that every year our places of work become more and more stressful. This leads to difficulty working with others as the stress builds and fractures relationships and trust.

A recent vacation reminded me of a valuable lesson. From a very early age, I remember the love of photography in our family.

I’m now sitting in the role of the KYSHRM Council Chair and reflecting on the leaders who have come before me who have inspired, engaged, and led KYSHRM to such great success.

By now, we’ve all seen the data dominating the headlines: In 2012, diagnosed type 2 diabetes and its related complications accounted for $245 billion in direct medical costs and lost productivity, up from $174 billion in 2007.
