This year marked the 15th anniversary of the Best Places to Work program in Kentucky. In 2004, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management partnered together to bring this great program to our state. The goal of the program is to identify and recognize organizations throughout the Commonwealth that have created successful workplaces with engaged and satisfied employees.
There are many benefits to participating in the Best Places to Work Program. One of which is the data provided to employers from the surveys conducted within their organizations. This survey is a great tool to measure and discover what makes your organization great and opportunities where you can make improvements.
In January of this year, participants were alerted whether or not they received a coveted spot on the Best Places to Work list. However, participants did not know where they ranked on the list and had to patiently wait to find out during the 2019 Best Places to Work Awards Dinner on April 23. There were more than 1200 attendees gathered at this year’s event to celebrate 100 companies that won the award! The Best Places to Work Awards Dinner was held at the Lexington Convention Center and did not disappoint. The evening was filled with laughter, networking and of course celebration!
We are thrilled to see how this program continues to grow and hope this trend continues for many years to come as employers focus on building great places to work.
Congratulations to all the Best Places to Work winners especially the winners taking the #1 spot in the large, medium and small company categories.
