Wesley House Community Services, Inc. Appoints Patricia Keene Williams New President and Chief Executive Officer

Louisville, KY— July 13, 2020 --The Board of Directors of Wesley House Community Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia Keene Williams as the organization’s next president and chief executive officer. Williams brings to the position a wealth of knowledge and an array of experiences in human resources, education, and community-based nonprofit leadership. She will join Wesley House on August 10, 2020.

Williams holds dual masters degrees in the areas of Conflict Management and Human Resource Leadership. She is a workforce advocate and pioneer for professional development and specializes in steering under-utilized and at-risk populations towards economic advancement. Williams sits on several local and state boards including KentuckianaWorks Regional Program Oversight Committee, KY Employment First Council, Louisville Society for Human Resources Management (LSHRM) and Kentucky SHRM State Council. She is an author of the anthology, Evolution of Human Resources and other articles. Some of her accomplishments include Class of 2019

Leadership Louisville Bingham Fellows graduate, 2018 past president of LSHRM, Kentucky Colonel Award recipient and named by Louisville Business First as one of 20 People to Know in Human Resources. Most recently, Williams served as Vice President and Senior Director of Programs at Louisville Central Community Centers, Inc. After only three and a half years, she advanced rapidly to senior leadership demonstrating keen skillsets and abilities.

Jason Chodyniecki, Chair of Wesley House, says he and the rest of the Board of Directors are delighted to have Williams join WH as its next president and CEO. “Patricia’s background in nonprofit leadership and innovative resource development, coupled with her outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, will ensure that WH continues to ‘help people, help themselves’ for years to come.”

 

Ms. Williams is taking over for Dr. Renee Campbell, who has served as president and CEO for 22 years. “The Board of Directors would like to thank Dr. Campbell for her stellar leadership, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors. The board also sends gratitude to Clinton Bennett, longtime supporter and Wesley House board member. Bennett has graciously served as interim executive director while allowing the board to execute the selection process” says Chodyniecki.
