ESHRM awarded the 2015 Innovation Award

Written by

The Elizabethtown Society For Human Resources (ESHRM) had the honor of being awarded the 2015 Innovation Award for small chapter at the 2015 Leadership Conference in Washington, DC.

The 2015 ESHRM Foundation Chairperson, Jamie K. Worthy, Sr. started the "Change For Change" program. He played off of the rivalry between UofL (red bucket) and UK (blue bucket) and challenged the team supporters to out give each other by dropping their change in the team's bucket of their choice.

The program has two parts: (1) donations received from ESHRM Members; and (2) donations received from visitors that attend the ESHRM meetings.

All donations from the ESHRM chapter went to the SHRM foundation. Jamie is the 2016 Foundation Chairperson and already has some fantastic ideas for raising ESHRM's Foundation goal for 2016!

ESHRM is committed to SHRM's mission of promoting the human resource profession, building community partnerships, mentorships and SHRM's education and certification process.
